1. The following new orders have been received :

• SNL Bearings,Ranchi ordered Mesh Belt furnace line (based on know-how from group company - SAFED of Switzerland) for carburizing, carbonitriding and hardening of bearing parts


• Chuckmatic, Dharwad (leading manufacturer of chucks for Lathe Machines) has ordered for an electrically heated SQF line.


• Al Ruquee, Saudi Arabia has ordered for a gas fired SQF line.


• SKF Bearings, Ahmedabad has ordered the following lines :


• Retort less Pit furnace line comprising of main furnace, salt quenching unit and salt washing unit with automated controls by FOCOS. Complete furnace line will be manufactured by Aichelin Unitherm in Pune.


• Rotary Hearth Furnace line comprising of Rotary Hearth Furnace, Mesh belt Continuous Tempering Furnace with Unloading Table. Complete furnace line will be manufactured by Aichelin Unitherm in Pune


• Three Station Hardening Press with Manipulator and Post washing unit for Rotary Hearth Furnace line.

2. The First Regional Customer Meet of Aichelin Unitherm was held successfully at Hotel Pride in Pune on Wednesday, 17th of April. It was well attended by more than twenty five customers and papers were presented on Batch, Mesh Belt and Continuous Gas Carburizing Furnaces with emphasis on new technological developments and energy savings. More such meets with presentations on behalf of customers and users are planned in the next few months in other parts of India. Please look out for the information on this website.
