Aichelin Unitherm offers advanced Pit Type Furnaces engineered for precision heat treatment of large and heavy industrial components requiring consistent metallurgical performance and controlled thermal processing. The furnace is designed with advanced retort technology and optimized gas flow dynamics that ensures superior temperature uniformity and atmosphere consistency throughout the entire charge load.

The furnace is ideal for carburising, nitriding, annealing, and other controlled atmosphere heat treatment processes, delivering high load capacity, repeatable quality, and energy-efficient operation for demanding industrial applications.

  • Retort type furnace design with close bottom for direct loading on retort.

  • Retort type furnace design with compensator / oil cup for loading heavy parts on hearth.

  • Options for retortless furnace also available.

  • High capacity re-circulation fan for high temperature / Cp uniformity.

  • Quench media: Oil / Salt / Polymer.

  • Electrically heated with special fibrothol heating systems.

  • EndoGas / Methanol, N2 Ammonia, Carbon Dioxide and Hydrogen atmosphere options available.
