High-Performance Continuous Carburizing Pusher Furnace

Aichelin Unitherm Continuous Pusher Furnaces are engineered for high-volume carburizing applications requiring uniform material flow, precise process control and consistent product quality. The advanced multi-zone furnace design ensures accurate temperature regulation and atmosphere control throughout the heat treatment cycle. When combined with integrated quenching systems, including energy-efficient high-pressure gas quenching, the furnace delivers reliable, reproducible metallurgical results, enabling stable series production and dependable operational performance.

Additional technical features

  • Loading in Carburising furnace via bottom loader. This eliminates requirement of gas curtain and lowers running cost.

  • Free oil quench tank with two dedicated elevators for quenching and unloading from the quench tank.

  • An option for two separate free oil quench tanks is available.

  • Pre- and post-wash with the FLEXICLEAN vacuum washing machine is available as an option.

  • Holding Chamber with Bottom Lifter with Servo Drive for high precision and accuracy for 6 - 8 layer per batch.

  • Press Quenching done by FANUC Robots.

  • A furnace with high-pressure gas quenching using nitrogen is available as an option for lower distortion.

FAQ – Aichelin Unitherm continuous pusher furnace
The furnace is suitable for carburising, carbonitriding, through hardening, normalising and annealing applications.
The furnace supports oil quenching, salt quenching and press quenching options. High-pressure gas quenching with nitrogen is also available for low distortion applications.
Process reliability is ensured by precisely controlled furnace zones with defined gas circulation and continuous atmosphere control. Process monitoring and documentation are provided via the FOCOS 4.0 process control system.
High throughput is achieved through multi-line design, automatic batch handling and optimized heat transfer in all process zones – making the system ideal for automated mass production.
Aichelin Unitherm continuous pusher-type gas carburizing furnace systems operate with high efficiency. Recuperative burner technology and durable insulation significantly reduce energy consumption.
