Aichelin Unitherm Roller Hearth Furnaces are designed for continuous heat treatment applications requiring high throughput, uniform processing and consistent product quality. Suitable for processes such as hardening, annealing, normalizing, carburizing and stress relieving, these furnaces provide precise temperature control and controlled atmosphere operation to ensure reliable and reproducible metallurgical results.

Motor-driven rollers enable smooth and continuous material transport throughout the furnace, supporting efficient production and consistent process performance. Available with electric or gas heating, the system combines robust construction, advanced automation and recipe-based process control to deliver high productivity, operational reliability and energy-efficient performance for demanding industrial applications.

FAQ – Aichelin Unitherm Roller Hearth Furnace
The Roller Hearth Furnace is suitable for hardening with oil, salt or polymer quenching, press quenching, isothermal annealing, normalizing and stress relieving. Its controlled heating and cooling system ensures consistent metallurgical properties across a wide range of applications.
Components can either be loaded directly on the rollers or placed in baskets and fixtures based on part geometry and process needs. Depending on the application, quenching is carried out through elevator arrangements.
The sturdy electromechanical drive system provides reliable, stable furnace operation with lower maintenance requirements. Its rugged construction minimizes breakdowns and ensures higher uptime during continuous production.
The furnace supports roller diameters ranging from 15 mm to 230 mm, allowing flexibility for processing various component sizes and load capacities. This versatility helps optimize handling for different product types.
